About
Flowers for Summer is Eric Marteau and Marko Melnick, a duo that started where flamenco guitar meets American songwriting. Eric grew up in Patagonia and studied under flamenco masters. Marko is a Colorado singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who studied bluegrass and played all along the Front Range.
What they share is a conviction that music should leave you better than it found you. They are based on Maui now, bringing the music of their own cultures to the island and weaving into the scene here.
The songs are built to lift: bright, melodic and unhurried, with Spanish guitar underneath and voices on top. Beautiful, uplifting, and meant to be heard in a room with other people.

Marko Melnick
Colorado
Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Studied bluegrass and played all along the Front Range.
